What Is Brainspotting?
Developed by psychotherapist David Grand, PhD, brainspotting is a revolutionary therapy that can bring profound change. Instead of using talk therapy to identify issues, brainspotting allows the brain to identify the place to work on next. Memories that have been frozen in time and space due to trauma can be brought to the surface in a safe and nonjudgmental environment, allowing processing and resolution. Brainspotting can be a very rapid method of moving past trauma, taking a fraction of the time of talk therapy or EDMR-type therapies.

What to Expect from Brainspotting
Brainspotting can be very open or very personal. You have the choice to process silently, or to provide a narration to help you process. This choice allows you the time and the space, especially in graphic or deeply private memories, either to keep them to yourself or to share them.
